Here is how I see the standing playing out after watching opening weekend.

1. Avalon
2. St. John's
3. CBR
4. Mt. Pearl
5. Celtics
6. Southern Shore
7. CBN
8. Whitbourne

Positions 4-8 could be anyone, I really believe Avalon, St. John's and CBR will be the top three hands down.

The League opens it's 33rd year this coming Saturday, 8:30pm, September 29th at the Goulds Arena. Roebothan McKay Marshall Avalon Junior Capitals will entertain the C.B. North Junior Stars. Looks to me like it will be a four team league again this year. St. John's, Mt. Pearl, Avalon, and Trinity.

Also wanted to give a shout out to the Breakers! Oates, Bragg, Sullivan, and Morry! Hope Im not forgetting anyone, but I witnessed you guys go through alot of defeats( and enjoyed it haha) over the years and you deserve to finally be on top! I don't think the capitals will let this series go past 5 games. They had a few key players out for the first two games of the season but I think they will have a full line up for tomorrow night.
