Re: 2015 Allan Cup coming to NFLD
The championship game will have to be held at Mile One for sure.

Re: IceCaps officially sign Zach O'Brien
I hope after the syracuse series people can see the difference between high-end major junior players Mark Schieffle and especially Emerson Etem. And a player like Zach O'brien. Just because you score some points in the Q doesnt make you a pro player. Patrick Yetman has been making a good living at ...

Re: IceCaps officially sign Zach O'Brien
I imagine he'll return for another year of Junior if he's not signed to an NHL/AHL contract. The ECHL talent level isn't worth leaving behind a possible run at the Memorial Cup (assuming he gets dealt to a contender next year). Not to mention forefeiting the CHL Education money too. That was Robert...

Re: Zach O'Brien and Brandon Hynes Ice Caps next year?
He's not Tampa's property. Minnesota did the same thing with Ryan Graham too but he's not their property either.
O'Brien and Hynes were one and two in goal scoring in the QMJHL this year. Wonder is this the first time that two NLers have done that in major junior?

Re: Zach O'Brien and Brandon Hynes Ice Caps next year?
A) Ryan Walsh never cracked the Top 10 in either year he scored 100+ points. B) When he played in the late 90's, Newfoundlanders were seen as a joke for hockey and being too soft. And it never helped that Walsh didn't show up in the postseason. Three points in 13 games doesn't exactly sell yourself...

Re: Herder Attendance could be disastrous
Jimmyjoe you are wrong about Mile One. The tickets are going remarkably fast and that is BEFORE the finalists are even known. In the Saturday edition of The Telegram the sports editor Robin Shorts said he has to buy dinner now at The Keg for Jack Lee because Robin didn't think the Herder would sell...

Re: HNL's Final Decision
I just received word from the Caribous team rep that HNL's original decision stands. Mile One & Pepsi Centre (pepsi centre based on if the cats or royals make it to herder) Pepsi Centre based on Cata or Royals in Herder? And if it's two of the other three teams, how are they dealing with the we...
