Re: Our League Our Rules
The article link above may not have posted properly but the jist of the article was Joe Maynard stated in yesterday's Telegram that the Avalon East would probably have no problem accepting CBN CeeBees into the Avalon East but he didn't know it they would have enough players for a team. According to...

Re: East vs West Herder Final in 2015
OK, so three years ago the avalon east was not worthy of playing for the Herder deemed senior 'B' and now all of a sudden yes by's your instantly 'A' status again. Gee, what a bunch of ****. This format will NOT work. If the west has 3 or 4 real good imports and the east has none you can merge all ...

Re: Senior Hockey Logic - Less is More
[quote="Caribous insider" Its not all about money! .....[/quote] LOl, you are misinformed. If it wasn't all about the money, why would it matter how many fans showed up? How many imports a team has? How many players from St. John's are playing? Why wouldn't they just use locals? Nobody wou...

Re: 4 teams withdraw from league.
Bigpoppachief you are right5 again as you often are. By way of information since last I posted lamenting the fact the CeeBees or Blades weren't told of the formation of a new leaguiew. I appear to be incorrect. The CeeBees contacted the AESHL some months ago indicating that is where they will be pl...

Re: 4 teams withdraw from league.
Really these teams had no other choice, the circus they had to out up with the last few years is ridiculous. IMO theses four teams could create a very strong league and keep senior hockey in this province for many years to come. I expect strong attendance from all four of these teams and some great...

Outcoached........Again
For the second time in a month, the Caribous were outcoached. I know from hearing the players voice their opinion, this fact stands true. As hosts of next years tournament let's hope they get someone behind the bench who knows hockey. A very skilled team that needs direction and not a guy who yells ...

Re: Eagles tie series
James Cadigan was in street clothes at the game and Tyler Walshe was on crutches, two big losses. Game 5 should be a dandy. See you on the rail.Hockey Eyes wrote:Was James Cadigan dressed in the 2-1 win? He had his shoulder hurt in Game Three.

Eagles tie series
Entertaining game, entertaining series. 4-3 Games 1 & 2 Caps Wins 4-2 Game 3 Eagles win 2-1 Game 4 Eagles win difference, two referee system. Caps couldn't get away with their stickwork like they did in the first two games. We could hear the Caps coaches and staff crying up on the rail all game....

Re: Congrats Dustin Russell
lmao!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a leader If you had 1/4 of the class Dustin Russell had you'd be a better person. Something of this nature, lighting the torch for the opening of the Provincial Winter Games, will never come your way. Handing out mesh hats at the opening of a new Glenwood Irving maybe, but no...
