Wouldn't it be in the Cats best interest to split this weekends games? Or does Shorts 3 game suspension end when the series is over? I would think it would continue and he would end up missing the Allen Cup playdown game. I could be wrong.

It is certainly within the Cat organization right to pursue legal action as some have sugested. But due to the time restrictions that option would not work.
