No Herder?? Or Is There?
There is suppose to be no Herder this year because the East are not in a Provincial league and the West are not registered as a Senior A league. We will see! All because of interlocking play. How much will HNL lose? Time will see what transpires.

Finally Happened!!
Ask anyone who cared about Senior Hockey in Grand Falls-Windsor would tell you today's scenario played out over several years when everyone was complaining about the Cats success. This success came from what you call organization. Everyone hated it because it was a proven success story. How many time...

Re: The Telegam -Brendan McCarthy-Herder
Why? Because it is a Provincial trophy and not an Avalon trophy. This is why they can't play for it. Even if West Coast were involved still can't be played for unless the whole Province had a chance to compete to get to the Herder.

They were passed up in the draft back a number of years ago. Cats being low in the draft took them. No more than that too it.

Re: DEAL STRUCK WITH CEEBEES THERE WILL BE HOCKEY
Makes one sick to listen to the crap coming from inside the overpass. You people only have to go down the road to the venues while Cats having to hire bus to get to areas like Clarnville. Cats are no more semi pro than anyone else. One of the main reasons players want to play in GFW is the way manage...

Re: ECSHL’s Problem
Facts are the facts. Cats always got the blame for east problems and always got the raw end of stick from HNL. Blaming everyone for east problems get you no where.

ECSHL’s Problem
All that is wrong with Newfoundland Senior Hockey is teams are too lazy to take a page out of success. I am talking GFW and Gander. These teams have to fundraiser all year round in order to put a team on the ice. There aren’t enough players in Central to be competitive so some form of payment has to...

Re: CBC Article
All the hell is wrong with the league is the other teams need to get off their butts and fundraise and take a page out of the most successful Herder Champ in the Province. Cats are not crying, just over the years, they had the screws put to them time and time again. Nothing was given to the Cats whe...

Re: Can the Breakers Bounce Back
People are saying control rebounds to turn around the series. I can assure you, it will take more than a few rebounds to stop Cats. They know the bounces at Joe. Not easy winning in the Historic Joe Byrne Arena. Just my opinion!!
