Maybe it was the wedge fries, I returned that recalled beef awhile back there cannon ball but stats tell the story.
Lastest on NLSHL site.......lets see.

Churchill 6 games played GA 24
Cats AJ 6 games played GA 10

Sounds to me that he has had more than one bad game, my guess is "old" Church is having a hard time playing against the new younger faster players.
I for one can't wait to get on his case here at the Joe on December 15/16th, that always seems to get him off his game.

Lets not forget now Fries, four of the wins by the Great Cats were against the Flyers very early; lets wait and see how AJ does with the Royals and Bous....Who knows, you may disappear from this forum just as fast as you appeared. By the way, the Flyers have turned a lot of heads lately and who knows....maybe the Cats had a hand in the schedule cause it sort of favours them!!!!!!

What a load of crap. The cats are only in first because they played the flyers. Now the flyers almost sweep a team higher up than the bous and now its. The cats faced the flyers when they were " early in the making ". Any other excuses you can make ? The road trip to gander was 1 hour each way while te bous went 2 hours to harbor grace. Its only early in the year and yes it is very possible that the cats could lose a few games against the bous or royals but give it a rest with the bullsht excuses. Right now the cats are ubdefeated while your bous are 1 point out of 4th.

IMO you will only get a true league standing on who's in which place, which how many points is when we break for christmas and ALL TEAMS have played the same number of games..

Take the CeeBees for example.. they've played 10 GAMES so far... and although some of the ceebee fans on here are actin like they got the entire thing won.. they've got 4 for 6.. .. not a great standing really.. again IMO

The Cats are obviously the strongest as it stands right now.. 6-0.. but have played 4 of those games against the expansion team.. does that play in as a factor?.. it may ..

The bous and royals are only 1 point apart, due to the bous loss in a shoot out..

and im pleased to say the flyers I think are surprising a lot of people... 8 games.. 1 win.. 4 losses... and 2 shoot out losses (which again, could have gone either way - it could easily be 6 pts for the flyers..

Charles played better then Churchill...no doubt about that but lets get real here. The 6th goal was an empty netter. Two of the others 5 were ......lets say not great goals. But they do all count, good and bad and the CeeBees won. IMO, going into Gander this weekend I would rather have Church in net then any other goalie on the island. Having said that, whos to say that Devon O'Brien wont get a start this weekend. ;-)

Really the season doesnt mean a lot. Just dont be last. Id like to see the Cats end 1st just because that means I have the potential to seem the most games at home. Other than that this league now has 5 teams that if any of them hit a hot streak come playoff time. They could win it all. Cats, Bous, Royals whatever could play awesome all year. Than the Flyers hit a hot streak, OBrien stand on his head and they are the champs just like that
