From what I have heard, Churchill was the difference this weekend. Some of the saves he made were definite game savers.

Not sure if you can give all the credit to Churchill or not but he did come up with some great saves , and like geno said he had the crowd shaking their heads ...By the way there is more of this to come

Maybe Kennedy was starting to 'rust up' sitting on the cold bench game in and game out. Why didn't they rotate goalies, one game each. That way both would be ready for the playoffs. You can't expect a goalie of Kennedy's calibre to be happy benched. Give Churchill a rest, play both and have 2 hot goaltenders for playoffs.

Correct me if im wrong...but pretty sure Kennedy played 8 of 14 and churchill played 6....if anyone was getting rusty it was churchill....lol

Some may think so but I would disagree. Shot clocks can sometimes be deceiving. Caribous certainly had the edge in play in both games with more quality scoring chances and some of their goals were the nicest I've seen all year. Their cycle game was great this weekend. The new line combo of Keith Delaney, Desrosiers and Chad Earle was dynamite! Also a big shout out to the rookies Barron and Mahoney who continue to contribute on the score board. Just my opinion......

Earle seem like a good pickup, Gives every shift 110% & can fire the puck in the net no prob

Hockey pap i never saw u around this weekend but unless u were working I'm sure you were there. Jason Churchill sure showed the fans in Clarenville that he's still got it. Two great games this weekend for him and several outstanding saves at the game today including a couple that left the Blades bench just shaking their heads! Adda boy Church......

Sorry Geno , I was in Bonavista all weekend,with the young fellow for AAA tournament. I wanted to be there believe me, I wanted to see the retiring of Stanleys jersey but I was able to get it taped and watched it when we got home.
