I think you guys are pretty sure this is going to happen. I would say it's just a matter of the official stamp. Doesn't make much sense that the Bous would announce the signing of MaCrae for a few games at the end of the season without being pretty sure he was going to be eligible for the playoffs.Caribous insider wrote:Correcttitan wrote:On the MaCrae issue?Caribous insider wrote:The league has not yet even ruled byes!

Our constitution says that if he can provide proof in medical documents that he was injured and unable to play, then he would be eligible for the playoffs. It's pretty cut and dry. However if they rule against it then the Caribous will have to bring him in for the last five games of the regular season. He's scheduled to come for the last two weekends anyway.

I said before The bous are strong without another import. when they play as a team. The problem I see here is not the fact that MaCrae was injured but the fact he was released. He had to be resign on a new card there for a new player and would have to get in six games. That's the way I see it. omo. Its hard for the league to have rules to cover all these situations. good luck.
So if this deal was so cut and dried why do you have to wait for a league decision. While I have no problem with him playing there is obviously an argument to be made for and against him being playoff eligible. The Grey area comes into play because he was released. Now if the league rules against the Bous because as The Voice said he is considered a new player, that may change things. If there is any doubt about him not being eligible and the Bous really want this guy on their roster for the playoffs why not bring him in for the remainder of the season, dress him and not give him any shifts. Does it have anything to do with medical clearances and insurance issues?Caribous insider wrote:Our constitution says that if he can provide proof in medical documents that he was injured and unable to play, then he would be eligible for the playoffs. Ur making way more of it then there is. What you asked is what I said. If the league ruled against it then they will bring him in for the necessary amont of games. Its takes time to compile the documents from the hospital in Clarenville and doctors in NS. The process wont happen over night. Also, not gona bring Stu back to early. Gona make sure he's ready to play so not gona rush it! We are current tied for first place so there's no panic. One way or another, Stuart MacRae will be I a Caribous jersey sooner then later......titan wrote:So if this deal was so cut and dried why do you have to wait for a league decision.
