HNL knows how to ruin senior hockey outside of the overpass, I guess the only league they wants left standing is the AESHL lol. If the herder goes ahead & whoever the winner of our league is will destroy the winner of the AESHL, If the Bous do play at mile one I will go & cheer them on cause that is a real fan would do!

.... about four .
By allowing the AESHL to beef up their team, they are essentially admitting that they are below the calibre of the CWSHL. Then they allow them to submit what is equivalent to an all-star team to be competitive. So that would mean a double standard - an all-star team against a house league team. Two sets of rules. Both leagues should put in their regular teams and, if that can't cut it, they don't deserve to compete. Next they'll be putting in a senior rec all-star team and allowing them to beef up with 6 of the imports.
At the risk of getting eaten alive on here but it kinda sounds like the Allan Cup to me.Dangle wrote:By allowing the AESHL to beef up their team, they are essentially admitting that they are below the calibre of the CWSHL. It is exactly like the Allan Cup . I don't understand why posters here are so upset. I have a question ..if the first game of the Herder is at Clarenville will there be more fans out to watch that than now go to a regular Clarenville game ? Clarenville against a beefed up Torbay Northeast Eagles team 8. p.m. pm on a Saturday night.
I would like to go to that game ...there are a lot of questions there to be answered.
Will the Caribous NOT bring in their imports figuring they can handle it ? How much will they have to pay their paid players? The Eagles just play for the game. These are good questions but I know the Eagles and other teams play with a passion I think has been lost in the west. I also know I want two tickets to that Clarenville game. Maybe four. I want to SEE it. How many games have you had like that in the west this season where the players won't be chatting about their college hockey days and how much money they are making.

Right on Hockey Eyes, I have made the same kind of commets here this week and saying the same things , most post on here says the hockey is the **** and fans are not going to watch, and yet they will blow the AESHL team out of the rink. I'm not sure. Playing to win and going through the motions for a pay cheque is a different thing.Hockey Eyes wrote:It is exactly like the Allan Cup . I don't understand why posters here are so upset.
