don't think teams knew much of anything at the start of the season.. because no clear answers were ever given.. just a bunch of scenarios thrown out to be agreed upon, and when something was agreed on, things would change again..
I personally don't understand why things like this isn't hammered out in the fall before season starts. This is what we wanna do, if teams don't agree, find some common ground.. compromise, and move forward... this situation "trying to salvage a championship" at the end of February should never have happened.

Exactly!
2-3 weeks from what was supposed to be the start of the Herder ... nothing finalized.

That would make it a different thing if this was the "Herder" finals. That would be a major selling point for the two teams involved. The Bottom Line wrote:How about 2 days from the start of the CWSHL finals......or is it going to be the Herder finals ? What a mess this is

and the price of admission might have been different also. Not to mention the opportunity to promote it or pick up a few extra sponsors. Farce is putting it nicely.

Carl and I are having quite the conversation on twitter lol
GO CATS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!!!!!!!!
So if nobody plays for the Herder, Who represents NL at the Allan Cup Next year?
Is not the case that not only was the Herder the Provincial Champion but gave you the right to compete for the Allan Cup as NLs rep?
