You got my vote on that and I would say a good many others as well .

It's all about the bottom line. The circus knew if they reduced the talent in the league, fans would stop showing up and the teams bottom line would be affected. They knew that they could never grow the Avalon rec league enough to compete, simply because the fans out there won't support it. So the best thing to close the talent gap was to reduce the imports. Every other governing body always pushes forward and comes up with ways to grow thier respected leagues. But not ours. They will tear it down to the point that the teams in the central / west league have no fans or talent left and then the circus can watch the rec league win the herder.

Bottom line is exactly right .
..... add a minimum of six imports per team in order to develop some genuine interest .

Super I am curious . Where will the revenue come from to have teams pay for six imports each? It's certainly not in paid admissions is it ? And that's not just this year. Its the TEAMS that wanted imports reduced for a very simple reason .......THEY COULDN'T AFFORD THEM

Did anyone hear the rumour that the Cats were paying Circelli a crazy amount of money to stay home? Heard today that a couple of the team's tried to sign him but couldn't match what GFW was paying. Again don't know if this is true or not. Money must not be an issue for the Cats.

Why would the cats do that ? If they wanted him for the Allan cup I would guess that he would be picked up anyway ... Unless there is something there where he may not be able to play for the cats when they have to play off against the NB team ... Might be something there
