I never looked at the shots but I'm thinking the Flyers were outshot. Bussey turned a little at the last second and I think the 2 min was the right call there, I know others will disagree. You are right about Chevrie, he played well. Gillis had a very rough weekend, certainly not his normal self but every player has those.

Overall a couple of decent games, the Flyers capitalized on their opportunities and played well despite missing 4 regulars, not counting O'Keefe who is like Michael Hynes, they play when it doesn't interfere with their work schedules.

Best class act today was ganders goalie when he looks up at a bunch of bums that was standing up by the canteen entrance that was shooting their mouths off while someone was hurt. These guys needs to be tossed from the rink. Same ol idiot that comes to gfw and mouths off and don't care what he says or who is around him. Hats off to the goalie he taught the bunch of kids that was by these bums that it is not ok to chirp a player while he is down. Class act goalie and played one hell of a game.

Agree, except that it was 1 idiot and he was told by a number of Fyers fans as well. As much as I dislike Busseys antics, I don't like to see any player injured. I was in the general area and I can guarantee you I went over and told him what I thought, I don't mind the chirping but there is a time and place for it.

Perhaps if this is even a remote possibility the CWSHL, Hockey Nl and Hockey Canada should suspend play in the CWSHL while they investigate such a matter. The notion that a team would purposely throw games is a very slippery slope and I guess should to be looked at by the governing bodies.....anyone?
