I'm not going to come on here and gloat or put down another team for being eliminated from the play offs because thats simply not my style. All teams deserve a hand of applause for having a great regular season and a competitve playoffs. I just find it funny how the bous fans are the first ones to get their backs up. Last two years they were the first ones on here rubbing it in everyones face, gloating, and running their mouths. Now the shoe is on the other foot they are taking back because people are gloating. Furthermore, to reference a post earlier, the west coast may have 4 competitive teams this year but just take a glance back into last season when the west had 2 strong teams and 2 weak teams. And who knows, next year this could happen again.
Champions are made from something deep inside them, a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last minute stamina, they have to be a little bit faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill

I think the Cats have the potential to beat the wings and go to the herder, but I am really hoping the Wings win and play the CeeBees in the herder. It would be nice to see that intense battle between the wings and bees that we seen a few years ago

Hey CF, that's SNOT nice, making comments like that. That's poor sportsmanship IMO. You gloat with the best of them when you team's winning (6700 posts will confirm that) but you seem to be a very ungracious loser. You can't win all the time because that's no fun for everybody else and after a while you wouldn't have anybody left to play with
If at first you don't succeed....PUCKIT!

Imagine that. A Caribou fan accusing another fan of gloating. That certainly takes the cake. :-D
My east prediction: Blades in 6
My west prediction: Cats in 6
My Herder prediction: Cats in 5.

Who, besides knockoutpunch, makes up this handful of gloating CeeBee fans?

I had posted a response to this thread this morning. I know it posted and now it is gone. I will repost as best I can...

What can he expect people to say about the Bous after they were tossed out of the playoffs? For two years all we heard is the team they were, had, goalie, signings etc, etc, until the Allan Cup knocked them down a notch and now the Wings culled them. Not all Caribou fans but many on here rubbed and rubbed and rubbed it everyone's faces until they started breaking noses. Now it is on the other foot...the rubbing tastes bitter, eh?

It is just too bad how some people get on here and go on with their foolish , stupid posts and at times personal attacks on players , officials and other fans. Part of the game is having fans from both sides rib and tease each other as long as it is clean and no personal insults / it is all in fun and good taste. This is all supposed to be about a sport that most of us enjoy to watch. We can shout for any team we want but should respect other fans around us. I have enjoyed my time on this site and I would like to see NL Hockey Talk continue to grow in the future and say a big thank you to one and all who help keep it going and hope that in the new season 2011 - 12 that those personal attacks and comments are kept of this site. As for the Bous and Royals organization / players I thank you for your hard work and dedication this past season and hope to see you all return in the new season of play.To the Cats and Wings give us a good series to watch and to the winner all the best in the Herder.
