What is the shape of a hockey puck?: triangle

Guys, the bottom line here is.....every team gets 3 imports......every team can bid for talent on the island......they all start out even. This year because the Cats seem to get the top players, everything is going to come to a halt! What happen with the Warren and Druken lotteries? SUCK IT UP. It's great hockey and a night out for $12. Gimme a break. Go to the rink and cheer on your team and leave your sour grapes at home! There's still alot of hockey left to play and you can bet $$$$to donuts that if another NL'er decides to pack it in and come home, you will get "All" teams bidding for their services. There have been imports in Nl long before our time and for years to come. I for one can remember the days of Toy-Toy Gallant and Gordie too and when I think back I have as many memories of the Imports as I do the locals. Enjoy the game.

Bottom Line is (and I should know), if you remove the imports and drop the overall quality of the product on the ice, you'll have a $8.00 ticket again and less fans. I think it's safe in saying most fans have no problem paying an extra 2 or 4 bucks per game to see possibly 6 imports and an overall better product. The danger comes when team "A" trys to keep up with team "B" and can't do it and end up in financial trouble. This jeoparidize's the entire league. It's not the team that got thier act together, it's team that blows the budget hoping for a trip to the hearder.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand - Cat's players looking for releases, I find it hard to believe that guys are jumping ship because thier icetime has been cut back because the team has gotten stronger. Perhaps that was part of the problem for the Cat's in past years - lack of commitment ! I wish these guys all the best in whatever they do and thank the guys who stuck around. These are the guys who you want around, not someone who's going to turn thier back on the team, after all, it's a TEAM sport, right ? Just my opinion.

I believe that was the same year the Ceebees picked up Dyke too. He wore one of those mirrored visors, he really stuck out.

Was the Joe packed 5 years ago when there was just Stone here and it cost 8 dollers to get in? When the hockey will still great, but the 4th liners were plugged up by young up and coming hockey players, from the area?
For someone to say ohhh I am saying this because the Cats are winning then your wrong. I don't blame them the rule is there and they are taking advantage of it. But Take all the rosters cut every import or even back to 1, and the teams will be exact but only there will be 3 more local players who play for the game and not for the money.

I personally have never paid to watch a SR hockey game and I never will, mostly due to the fact that it goes right into these overpaid babies pockets, who change teams every year where the money is. No shame at all, I will never pay my 12 dollars so good ol number 55 can come to NL to play for money and not for the love of the game.
