The first games of the New Year will take place THIS WEEKEND at the Eastlink Events Centre, as the Clarenville Ford Caribous take on the visiting Kelly Ford Gander Flyers.

The games after Christmas is often when you see teams really coming together and the standings begin to tighten up. With the Cataracts way out in front with points, the Caribous & Flyers are looking to pick up some needed points this weekend.

Now that the turkey coma's and festivities are over, and we all get back to our regular routines, be sure to get your tickets for this weekend and cheer on your team!... Without your support, our local hockey can't continue.

Gander Flyers are the team to watch out for. They have all the pieces but need the glue to put it together. I only hope everyone will get out to watch it. Great hockey at a great price. All teams competitive .Go Flyers Go and bring the fans with you.
