Just wondering if anyone in central way or connected to the two teams would like to let Fans no what is going on!

We are all waiting, waiting...
Simply using the logic of the new calendar year , I would hope the "powers to be" of the two central organizations will be 'forced' to announce 'something' very soon - by Monday , at the latest ?? Very frustrating having no updates whatsoever....
I personally grabbed onto a small closing comment in a Xmas Cats Facebook report on fundraising-ticket winners, where comment was specifically highlighted " that we will see you at the Joe after Xmas" !

Do the Cats still hold their bingo at the Joe? Maybe that's what they meant. Hearing some Cats players will be suiting up in the East league very soon.

I think that would be the best thing for them to do . Release the players to play with other teams so they can get a game and make a few bucks on the promise that they will have to return to the cats next year if they decide to come back.

I agree, same with what's left of the Flyers, best for all involved imo. Nobody's knocking the execs of either club, they've worked really hard trying to make something happen but I don't see it working out.

Hedges has now played with Clarenville and J Fitz is away working. So that's now 9 players gone from last years roster. I just don't see it happening, unfortunately.

I was told that Gander players who wanted to get hockey in , while continuing attempts to
'solve' the central two-team dilemna were worked on, were given that option...
But, I also understand that those players - if hockey did happen out here - were prepared to return to the Flyers.
So, if a deal has been struck to save hockey in central, we will know soon enough if those players return.
