How is a 1 for 1 trade sketchy? Plus the Caps get the bonus of keeping Escott for the rest of this season (only in NL senior hockey will you see a player traded mid season but not allowed to play for his new team until the next season) No one forced the Caps to make this deal, if they didn't think it was a good trade for them they wouldn't have made it.
