the article is really a dead issue for now,,its all about wait and see. now that winnipeg is going back to the nhl will st.john's go back into the american hockey league. from what i have been reading the ahl franchise manitoba moose will go on sale next week. and whoever the owner will be, indications are the team will be going to either thunder bay or st.john's. if st.john's is the winner you can kiss avalon east good bye because it will be back like the old days, fifty fans in fieldian gardens on a friday night and clarenville will stay in the west.
