Are the Cats allowed to affiliate with another team this year ?

The Cats would be changing their registration from AA to AAA to be eligible to play for the Allan Cup. They can then affiliate with any Newfoundland based team that is registered as AA.
Good luck at the Allan Cup.

Although I'm not positive, I am fairly certain that the format has changed this year and the Cats will be able to affiliate with any 19 AA registered players. In other words, they could take an alstar team from NL.

That is correct geno. This is a one year situation only.
