I always hated them but I must say the best weekends at the Joe were when DL were in town.

i gotta agree geoguy. one word "INTENSE" rivalry, especially in the playoffs. close games, nail biters even a couple bench clearing brawls. The Cats/Wings rivalry was the best and was always a sell out or close to it at the Joe or the Hodder. Sad day in Newfoundland when the official announcement is made and theres no Wings this year.

If indeed true it will certainly be a trend starting to develop....The Breakers last year, the Red Wings this year...what we all thought were strong hockey towns (which they are) are falling to the bigger centres....bad to see for NL Senior Hockey as a whole.
