great news this was long over due. to be fair with the royals and wing . the new team should be call HUMBER VALLEY EAGLE or something with humber valley ???????? this should be good for the fans and leaque GO HUMBER VALLEY ?????????

If the Langdons are playing maybe they can call them the" Humber Lumber". HA HA! Here's another good name since both teams are merging, how about the "Humber Valley Combines"? A tribute to Capt.Cook? Call them the Buccaneers, Pioneers, Privateers, Pirates, etc. I still prefer the name "Royals" because of the rich hockey history behind it, but I'm sure Deer Lake fans would disapprove and I can understand that. How about the "Humber Valley Lakers"? Who else out there has a nickname they would like to see used?
