The decision is made, and nobody but the cats is really surprised by it. It's not the right decision, it's unfortunate but it's reality. Getting on with all of this "we're going to court, we're not supporting our team, the league is dead" stuff just seems completely immature. I'm sure if you reflected on what you are saying on here out of anger, you would rethink it before you wrote it again

Get out there and support the cats, and let's make the right changes for next year. If there is a next year

Tomcod ,, 40 or 50   jezzzzzz man the both of us helped put in the Exploits river ,, right Tomcod

I have a feeling that this decision will blow up in HNL face.. I feel for the Cats Organization, Sponsors and fans. They are a model franchise and I ticks me off that if they played in the Herder that their supporters may not be there to support or if they do it will be a great expense. Not to mention the benefits the business community would have gained from this. The Cats have great fans who have been behind the organization from day one, through the good and the bad. Stupid decision by HNL depriving the diehards the best opportunity to support the team and to have it in Mile One where inside the overpass nobody gives a hoot about Senior Hockey. Anyways I wish HNL never made this decision but they did and something we are going to have to deal with. All the best to the Cats Organization as this is something difficult that they may have to work through.

Not tryin to stir up crap... but how much benefit can the business community get when there would only be maybe 200 tickets (and that's pushin it) available to outside fans.. and the majority of fans watching would be from the gf/w area anyway... not saying there wouldn't be some spin off (same as any home game and you got some visitors coming in).. but not like there would be an influx of 500+ fans coming in to spend hotel & restaurant dollars..

just sayin'..

The bous when we played outta mile one the first year... they made sure the major sponsors were well looked after.. if I remember ... the majors even had an up-set from the home rink, since many of their logos were seen on the big screen at centre ice.... you just gotta think outside the home rink box and look at other methods ... thats all Im sayin.

Are you joking? Not all Cat fans are from GF-W as not all Bou fans are from Clareville. These fans from "outside" spend cash at coffee shops, restaurants, malls ect. So if there are no games..... no fans!
