i'm guessing someone already threw the water bottle and struck you in the head.

I suspect that most real fans of NL Senior Hockey over the past few years know the truth about Churchill's character despite what some people have chosen to write.

Its shouldn't be his Character that is under the microscope, but whether to change goalies at some point during that 3rd period. IMO Ivan should have pulled him when it was tied game. Whether the team goes to sleep, plays defensive, or whatever.... The Bou's needed a shake up... and as much as I stand by Churchill, I think Ivan should have pulled him on that 3rd goal.
Before the puck dropped on the 3rd period, I called it, next goal was going to be a "soft" goal on Churchill... Going into the 3rd with a lead and zero for the Visitors, you know whether Churchill is on his game or not by the next goal... Its either "Stand on his head Super Churchill" or "look out the wheels can come off this just as fast"

It SHOULDN'T be his character under microscope no, but that's what people keep going back to for some reason. And that's exactly what it is Seawolf - is YOUR opinion that Ivan should've pulled Churchill. Don't take this the wrong way but you or anyone else on here (including myself) aren't the ones to make that decision. We can speculate all we want, but if he DID pull Jason and put in Devon, who's to say the outcome would have been ANY different? Then the topics would have gone from Clarenville having 2 star goalies, to having the "2 worst goalies on the island and coach Hapgood should be fired" lol The fact of the matter is - Ivan's decisions as head coach, and the team dynamic are part of what has brought the team to 1st place standings in this crazy competitive league. Anyone can speculate and question his decision making, but fact of the matter is - he must be doing something right! There's a lot of pressure to succeed, and I don't think that just anyone could take that type of pressure. It's easy enough to say in hindsight what we would do in the situation, BUT until we're actually put in a position that we'd have to make decisions like that - we have NO clue what we would do.

I don't think, I was looking over at the bench and I never seen him talking, Un less he don't know who threw it or talked to him after I stopped looking over
