For game 3.. on friday?.. maybe not that many.... but a few may make the trip over saturday morning for the weekend for games 4 and 5..
Don't count us out yet!

You will get the 4 or 5 hundred die hard hockey fans like myself if i were home. It couldn't sell out when deer lake played and they brought down most of deer lake. I hope i am wrong. Sunday will be a dead loss. If they don't support there own team how do you expect them to support two other teams.

I expect if there isn't a good show of support (ticket sales sold) at the pepsi center - next year you will see ALL herder games played outta mile one..

I am not trying to boost any numbers and I'm not speaking about the Pepsi Centre because I know nothing about it. I can tell you though that the Herder at Mile One will be a sellout. The Herder is weeks away . The finalists haven't been determined and Mile One tickets are going great. .

I can see Mile One being sold out you have a wide area to gather fans from.

You are both correct and they aren't just hockey fans going to the games. I mentioned earlier that a guy at work asked me if I could get him a couple of tickets for the St . John's games and the3n in the same breath asked me who was playing . *s* Not a classic hockey fan BUT .... his money is still good and he is welcome in the rink. What will make it though is what has made it in the past ... lots of fans for one side and lots of fans for the other side.
Last year i was for Grand Falls because I thought it was time for them. This year I'll be for Clarenville .
Yeah I know ...assuming ...assuming ...assuming but it looks like the CeeBees and the Royals are done.
Still mulling over how the CeeBees having played 11 games that were the swecond game in a two game weekend series ....lost 10 of them An eternal mystery or ... bad luck and statistically not significant.

It is my understanding that Mile One was booked long ago and therefore all games could not be played there if they wanted. No doubt Corner Brook will be difficult to sell out but you all should enjoy it while you can because HNL have totally messed up with their dictatorship. This league will fail very soon, there is no way the teams and the league try to do whats right in their community but HNL figure they know it all. When the two teams whom ever they are go play in the Herder receive less money then the other three teams eliminated is total ridiculous. HNL are not looking at the best interest of the teams and communities involved. I don't like to be negative, but Bye bye senior hockey! We are down to a bare minimum 5 team provincial league, it will only take for one team to drop out here and the leauge is done.

I am a dedicated Royals fan and I don't miss a home game whether they're winning or losing. However, I have no intention of going to watch two outside teams playing at the Pepsi Centre for the Herder and I have heard the same comment from a lot of other Corner Brook fans.
I think that if any team that makes it to the finals WANTS to play in their own barn they should be permitted to do so. To do otherwise is IMO a crazy decision by the league executive as they will find out. I hope I'm wrong.
