I was at that game. Sparks did the dirt but didn't have the guts to back it up. If you are going to play like that, be a man and answer the bell afterwards. That sly cheap shot he gave the Flyer player could have caused an injury, yet he jumped to the ground and covered up like a scared little boy when Donovan challenged him. He should be stuffed and put in a roaster for Sunday dinner. (What's that thing called again??...oh yeah a c*****n!!)

Gosse's greatest asset is getting under people's skin and as you can see from this thread it is not just opposing players but fans as well.

I've watched Donnie play a lot of hockey over the past 15 years or so and he's dropped the mitts a few times. Once was back around 1997 when he fought Corey Crocker in Hr. Grace, when he was being escorted off the ice he made after Tony Walshe. Another was in 2004, back then the team from the bay was called the Stars and this supposedly tough guy from up the bay challenged Gosse and Gosse laid a lickin on him. 6 or 7 years ago in Hr.Grace Jon Babb and Gosse got into it. And then there was the brawl down the shore 5 or 6 years ago. Gamberg fought Gosse first, then Crosbie went with him, then Reardon went after him. It seems like Donnie has mellowed a bit, doesn't have the nasty streak like he used to.
