Playoff format?

I didn't hear it myself but a couple of people who watched the Eastlink broadcast last Sat.night between the CeeBees and Cats said that someone on the broadcast said that all teams will make the playoffs, the first and second place teams will get a bye and the third, fourth, and fifth place teams will play some sort of round robin. Any truth to this?
