If it goes to game 7, the Bous have to travel to Deer Lake for game 6 and then back to Bouville for game 7 whereby the Royals only have to travel for game 7. Bous go to Deer Lake March 2, play that night, back to Bouville March 3 and play that night; extra 6 hours on the road crossing the great Rock.

I would have to disagree with you on that comment. This is very much in favour of the Bous.
All you have to do is get a split on the first weekend in Deer Lake and you have 3 home games to finish the series, with no travel. Then should you need game 6 and 7 to finish the series, it would be alot better than playing game 5 in Clarenville, then to Deer Lake for game 6 and back to Clarenville for game 7.
I would wonder why this has not been tried before in the playoffs. I think it would be better for all teams travel wise.
It will be interesting after this series is done to see how both teams felt about it.
