The game between Boston and Tampa Bay was just postponed tonight in Boston, whats the conspiracy behind that I wonder? Surely it wasn't for safety reasons!

PS those teams play in the NHL......

The game between GFW and Western is going ahead. The weather is much worse in central.

I guess they have better plow operators in central. Very poor weather in GFW!!...Players only had to come from St.John's and Deer Lake!! They braved it when there was nothing on the line!! The league is a joke for allowing thus to happen!!

Some of you people are senseless. The game should be cancelled with the weather conditions that are presently on the go. From Butterpot park to Witless Bay line is a total white-out. Weather conditions unfortunately change in a flash and nobody can do anything about it. A friend of mine one night last week was on his way to Mile one and had to turn back because of heavy snow squalls. It's winter and the predictability of weather is unknown. For the safety and secuity of all involved. Good call whoever made it. Play the 2 games next weekend. We have all spring to determine a winner.

This is what i heard and when i say heard from a friend who said players did not want to drive out in these conditions. I think the league and not any one team can make a decision of cancelling a game for weather conditions.

Great post. To read some of the things people have posted here today just makes me laugh. Unbelievable how some people think. Good job by the league executive in making this decision. Im sure they consulted with both teams and did not make this decision without much debate between all involved. The safey of all players, officials, fans etc is whats important.......nothing else matters!
