for anyone to come here and say they think its ok for a player to slash and break another persons finger (if it is broken) is unbelievable.. don't care who's on the other end of the stick... dumb, totally dumbcanonball wrote:No , Don`t make it right , but it comes down to who is on the other end of the stick in most cases

No doesn't make it right but in a competitive sport, these things tend to happen. Star players get some extra attention, thats for sure. I doubt there was intent to injure on the part of Gosse but if he could get an extra shot in on Pearcey, you know he was going to take it. Though sometimes the physicality in this league reflects that of recreational hockey, it can be a rough game. Personally, I enjoyed the scrums and intensity after the whistles, thats something that was missing all year. Sorry for being dumb Blades..
I don't like to see anyone injured, but Hulit and Delaney's are innocent in this. If Gosse has an issue with Pearcy, that is one thing, no one on the Cataracts picked up for Pearcy at the time of the incident, so maybe they thought it wasn't deliberate. If it was really dirty, surely someone would have done something during that game. Cataracts won the game by a big score, so if someone went after Gosse and took a 2 minute, no harm done, wouldn't afftect the outcome of the game. Who was on the ice with Pearcy when this happened? That is who should have taken care of it there and then, not a week later in CBN.

The problem with going after Gosse is, he turtles. Why waste your time after a pansy like that. If you go after him and punch him in the face he covers and turtles. He never stands up for his actions, so if Gosse wants to play the dirty game and chop AP then fight like a man. If not, as noordinaryjoe claims. It would be smart for someone to go out and chop Hulit across the wrist first shift.....

by the way thats sarcasm. Its an IDIOTIC statement to call that a smart play. Donnie Gosse should have been dealt with Sunday, that was the Cataracts only mistake that game. First shift Saturday night send out Brad Lewis and make sure Gosse is ejected from that game.

At least if a Cataract player had gone after Gosse, it would show that they cared about their teammate Pearcy. If Gosse turtled so what, at least it would show him,not to do it again, or he will get what is coming to him.

If Lewis did go out first shift and made sure Gosse was ejected from the game, wouldn't that be a good trade off for the Cats? You basically just proved the point, if Lewis could take one of the Ceebees top 2 dmen out of the game right off the hop, it would increase the chances of the Cats winning the game.evanpenton wrote:by the way thats sarcasm.
