Will Ling remain a Cee Bee after this weekend???? from stories I have heard, he did not produce and his game style has been changed to that of the European league. With paying him big money and the team not doing so well in points, and money what will happen to him???

He never played very well in Corner Brook, one assist he got credited with he never touched the puck, like i said he don't like the rough going and don't go in the corners, he hangs out around center ice and off to the side of the net. He has a great shot.

Well sounds as though you have changed your tune about the bees financial situation from a month ago when you stated that Danny Cleary would not see this team fail or fold and you one of their so called biggest supporters come on here and doubt that they are financially stable leaves a lot to be desired IMO...
If the Bees fans don't get out and support their team very soon from what I am hearing and yes its only rumblings from around the rink of this early season lol we could very well see Mike Dyke and a few more Bees in the Purple N Gold before Xmas...GO FLYERS!!!

gmec, I never changed my tune, or said they were having financial troubles. I said that cleary would put the money up to get the team off the ground. He would not let the team fold. As for Ling, they agreed to pay him x amount with hopes the fans and money would come in so that they could afford him for the season. All I am saying in my last post was that they don't have to cash to afford what he is looking for, so that's why I started the topic. They can still afford players (imports) just not at his cost.

Just 6 games into this year and now the Bees can't afford their star import this can't sit well with the fans.
Don't look real good on the new executives decision to bring him in in the first place if they couldn't afford him.
And your comment about the team not doing so well with the money aspect only adds fuel to the rumor mill and helps them in no way at all.
This talk about the Cee Bees money issues are getting real old real quick IMO...GO FLYERS!!!
