The gander flyers have a strong team with a very strong goalkeeper but since he showed up in the airport town he's been required to stop forty to fifty shots a game every game. The flyers defence is built on speed and rushing the puck up ice so if they don't learn to play some defencesive defence and get rid of the second and third chances in front of their net then they are going to be in serious trouble in the stretch and come playoff time.

Was saying this to my buddies on the way home tonight Geo. They have to reduce the shots they are giving up, only so much your goalie can do. Looking forward to tomorrows game, hopefully another good one. Go Flyers Go

Not to bad, took our time and dodge along. Would have been a much better drive with a Flyers win ,lol. Either way a good night and will be back again tomorrow.

There's only so many saves that a goalie can make on any given night. Savage has consistently faced way too many shots. If the flyers improve on the defense this would make a major difference to the team given how their goalie is performing.

Nah, the Big Bucks were promised from the Cats but we wouldn't trade him, so he had no play here. I wouldn't worry about Pender he will be fine come February.

i strongly agree that the defensemen are not playing defense but are to offensive. o,keefe is real bad for this.i have being watching senior hockey a long time and i dont understand terry ryan even making this team. He has a job to get 1 good shift in alone get out and penalty kill. this is like putting your team down 5 on 3. i can see why the cats won 4-0 sunday with these things going on. I see that the lines have changed with almost every game but i understand with players missing quite often this cant be avoided. brazil shute galleger had great chemistry with great results, that line is gone now as galleger has left.they also got some power play time and were successful.i also think escott gets a little too much ice time. you cant be on the ice all night and give an honest effort.he would be more effective with less icetime.i only hope coach peach can see these things before playoffs so gander will be more competitive come that time.
