Tomcod wrote:Hey hockey eyes you said it you just dont understand... the mainland teams competeing for the allan cup can pick their team from all over canada no such restrictions as imports... while here in NL we are limited to a few imports...They let NL pick up strenghtening players so we can be competitive because of the HNL rules concerning imports ...

Oh and by the way the NCWHL have been invited to play the AESHL for the Herder.. If & when the teams are told the terms of the herder playoff ( financial & whatever ) if it goes to a vote & the NCWHL turns down the format ( democratic society ) that is their right .. The herder is HNLS tournament so if the invitation is turned down Hnl will have to go back to the drawing board ,JMO... stay tuned...

.... something tells me this is what is going to happen Tomcod. HNL/AESHL will have their own show at Mile One LMAO .

... like you said ; the CWSHL were " invited" to play for the Herder and are not obligated to play should they determine that they (CWSHL) are not financially able to participate .

... if they do not disclose minutes of this meeting, than more than likely, HNL/AESHL will rent the Mile One and play for the Herder themselves .

Guys I havent entered this debate but I do have to make this comment because it seems some people are not aware of the rules. All teams that are competeing in the AC are playing by, with, under, how ever you want to say it, the EXACT SAME RULES. HC did not give the NL teams anything extra to make them stronger or so they could compete. All teams have the same rules! Just wanted to get that out there.....

Why do you keep insinuating that the Eagles will be playing in the Herder Joe? Oops, I mean Hockey Eyes. They are currently in 2d place and have never won anything before.
