Hey Superfan , no thanks to HNL for fan attendance , what have they done to promote senior hockey on the island , nothing only skim their percentage of the top at the herder playoffs .. stay tuned...superfan wrote:We average 1000-1200 fans per game . This is the best attendance in the country for AAA .
...... and more fans than the AESHL gets all year .

That's good if the league averages 1000-1200 fans. But one would think if it's the best senior AAA in Canada, it would be the hottest ticket around. Sold out every game. Will the fans still come out in those numbers if the prices are raised 5-6 dollars a game? Superfan, your from clarenville right....the couple of games I've seen out there this season was nowhere close to those numbers
And I don't know why you keep bringing up the attendance in the aeshl. Again, I have no dealings with the aeshl. The league could fold tomorrow and it wouldn't make any difference to me. But you are the one that keeps bragging that the CWSHL is the best in Canada. But from what I've read, all teams are in a bit of trouble with money.
So will the CWSHL survive if the prices go up because as you say you will fly officials in every weekend.

Not even close.
Having a league not under HC, home team paying out an extra 4000 every weekend. Must be a lot of great corporate sponsors lining up to pay the extra costs.

HNL has lots of money , we will have to borrow some from them ... Never heard a word about revenue sharing this year from HNL , another brain wave that never panned out lol.... Oh the blunders ... stay tuned ....Nl senior hockey fan wrote:Not even close.

We'll for starters... for me its about having a decent hockey venue outside the overpass. The Avalon fan base has a decent game to watch at Mile One in the AHL... So what about rural Newfoundland??? Doesn't seem that those behind the wheel care a rats a$$ about rural Newfoundland...How about the good people from Corner Brook, Grand Falls, Gander and Clarenville..... (and neighboring communities) that enjoy going to watch a game on a Saturday night.Nl senior hockey fan wrote:That's good if the league averages 1000-1200 fans. Looks like all the circus had time to vote now, at least once. Perhaps they would be be served if the stuck to running hockey. Listen to me, run hockey...... more like RUIN hockey. The CWSHL finals start this week and HNL hasn't yet made an official announcement on the Herder.

How can any board wait until the semifinals start to tell everyone how the finals will go. I'm sure the fans of the Royals and Cats would like to know so they can make plans, book rooms.....etc. Maybe Hockey No Longer don't want fans from outside the overpass to make the trip and witness the circus. That's what it sounds like to me.
