Obviously if teams are able to submit a 28 man roster... the smart thing would be to pick 28 players. What happens if a team has a few injuries, etc. or in a game with the NB team you get 4-5 players suspended, etc. etc.
I thought the Cats being a local team would have availed of the maximum roster limit whether they used the players or not... I mean why not submit them. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Clarenville Caribous are a joke.
Done everything in their power to build themselves up to host this tourny with complete disregard for the survival of the current league. They stretch every rule to the best of their abilities and are very lawyer like when defending their reasoning. playin the year without imports to cut costs is very disrespectful to fan, sponsors, and the league. Yet you claim your Org. is a class act other teams should look up to. The bous have been operating the last few seasons with the own personal agenda. You could care less if their is a league next year or not. Complain about NHL protecting their own interests all you want. The Bous are just as bad or worse.
Those players dont belong here representing our province. everybody knows it.
Your organization is a joke.

Stefanishion is a massive framed Alberta farm boy who can crush guys along the boards or bury lasers into the net. He's an unreal beast when he is "on".
Both NFLD teams are absolutely loaded with skill.

I seems as though the players that the bous signed from the LNAH may not be eligible to play. A player cannot be affiliated with the LNAH and be on a hockey Canada card at the same time. Did these particular players stop playing before the deadline and sign a hockey Canada card with another team I wonder. A player has to be signed to a HC card and a team in order to be picked as an affiliate player

The Bous have more players from their own team this year than they had on last years roster ..
Enjoy the Allan Cup this year because you will not see GFW in it next year I am willing to bet on that , It is only because it is played on the rock that they are there this year
