Cant' really lay blame on the royals... or any team for that matter when stuff like this happens. These arena's have more things going on in them than simply senior hockey. Often events such as the one that the Royals are now facing are booked a year or more in advance... what's these facilities suppose to do?.. "no we're sorry we cant' book your event.. that's during hockey season and the rink might be needed"?..

This happens all the time, and you suck it up and teams and arena's work together to find a solution.

I am sure that this situation was well known before the royals won the series, and a plan which meets the approval of both the cats and royals is already in place. If not it would just prove even more so what a joke this league is quickly becoming

You are 100% correct that they do not have to, however knowing the GFW organization they will. They have always done what is best for the league in the past.
