Was hoping that out of everything this game would be physical seems everyone says the cats would be surprised with all the hitting from the east team, nothing physical about this game except Tobin exercising his tongue all night. Imagine if hoffe & Lewis weren't playing regular shifts and the big guns had more ice time, the score would be much worse (although hoffer did score). This is warm up for the cats for the showdown with the NB team I guess. Bussey played a great game, 2 goals and most of the very few nice hits. Short was speedy tonight making several rushes and honourable mention to lindstrom for making a really nice rush as well.

Caps dont have (non nfld) imports. But they picked up 5 or 6 non team players. Some of which inly played 2 games all year.

so its a like a semi pro team playing a amateur team

Well after the Cats dominate them thats exactly what hnl and vocm and them will say. How the cwshl imports are bankrupting teams and ruining senior hockey. Making the herder finals unfair before it started. They should have been aware from the get go. Cwshl is a semi pro league. Aeshl is amateur or intermediate

Who cares who much it embarrasses the aeshl champ. Downer threw his water bottle skated right by his team (didnt touch gloves with any of them) and skated right for the gate the instant the final buzzer went. He is an awesome goalie. But right now the leagues are too far apart.

If you recall Evan I text you to say Downer has no idea what is about to unfold next weekend. Shell shock I called it.

Wait to tomorrow the Caps have a night in a hotel and a few beers to drink. They never had that all year.
Score will be higher tomorrow. Caps will be hungover.
Look at the bright side though, HNL are in town living high on the hog and soon they will be making new rules for next year.

Ill go out on a limb and say the herder will be won by an aeshl team next year. HNL will try and take out imports all together. Stating it will help the bankrupt cwshl teams. Then the cwshl teams will fold. Players go back to the aeshl and the herder presented back in sj. HNL wins
