With that being said, I think the Red Wings have treated their fans poorly this season, and I've stopped attending games because of that. Do I want them to lose? Not at all! Do I think they deserve to win? Not really, to be honest.
One part of me thinks that it's a league issue...if all teams make the playoffs, then who really cares about the regular season? The other part of me sat down and paid good money to watch half a team give half an effort, and that part of me thinks the teams should do their best, or give up. I'd prefer the old days of watching local players give a full effort because they love playing.
Just my opinion...I hope the Wings do well, and yet I think it will be a sad thing because it will re-inforce that the way they went about the season was okay.
The most honest post i have read since Christmas, i to have heard a lot of disgruntled fans in deer lake about the way they have been treated this year. Sure Andy said the regular season don't mean anything. Time will tell i guess.

Me personally, i think the Red Wings done well winning the games they did this year with what they had...Andy Brake would have every single player in every single weekend if he could and im sure they would have been battleing it out for first all season with the Bous and Cats...But it didnt work out that way,the Wings players and managment had a rough season with alot of injurys and nobuddy is happy about that but perosnally i think the Fans should be there to support them and not worry about what other peoples opinions is on the team...Sure its playoffs and the team will be going into grand falls this weekend as underdogs..We been underdogs all season long,LETS MAKE SOME NOISE AND SUPPORT YOUR TEAM....

Wings will have Ryan Power back in the lineup this weekend and Barker,Shears,Good year,Hynes etc and new addition Lenny blanchard...

Good to hear that you will have most of your team there, as for Lenny he is a body i guess you take what we release, i know what you thought of lenny in the past. Good luck this weekend, we need hockey out this way for a while yet. Who is missing besides Druken and that guy Warton who you said would be playing in the playoffs. I guess the bous hope Druken get well soon because he is one reason why they affiliated with you.

Finally another red wing fan who is willing to tell how they really feel about this season. Nice to finally have someone in my corner. The crazy thing about it is if they changed the setup to only the top 3 teams making it and the 1st place team getting a bye to the finals the Wings would still be in the playoffs ahead of the Royals.
