It doesn't matter to me that he's a royal, in fact it's worked in our favour . He doesn't intimidate what so ever and I think he can be an effective player if he thought things through each shift. To be honest , the only thing that he's done that rubbed me the wrong way are his knuckle rolls after a scrap since he's lost most of his fights. Showboating usually comes with a victory yet it makes a person look like a tool in any case. He can lay the body since he's such a big guy and that's what he should be doing unless the need to drop the gloves arises. JMO
hence the problem there redmack he cant lay on the body as he gets called for penalties, yes hes taken some bad penalties over the year, but now all he has to do is look in somebodys direction and hes sent to the box

His is not aload to lay on the body because the refs call him for interference, but now they have been calling him for elbowing when he lays on the body. The very first road game he played he was a target by the to goons in Deer Lake the very first shift he played they went for him in the corner by the zamboni interence witch lead to his first fight of the night with the NHLER.Either the second or third shift that he played the other one kept at maxwell until he had no choose but to fight.I don`t think he got to play 10 minutes if the ref was doing his job guy should have been in the sinbin before it got started.Saturday pass with about 1or 1 and a half left in the game maxwell skates by the top of the crease and churchill hits him with his stick the ref puts up his arm to call a penalty but it was on maxwell why i don`t know because he didn`t touch churchill.I ask the clarenville fan next to me what maxwell did and he said nothing that he could see and he said the ref forgot who he was calling the penalty on so he gave it to maxwell. Then to top it all off when roger was going to the dresssing room a manwearing a blue jacket about 2 or3 rows up started yapping at him and secuity gaurd had to come out.

In my opinion The reason maxwell gets so many interference calls is because he is so slow and always late.

I don`t think you got a good memory , because i like to know where the real man on the cats that will take a hit and walk away especially keep going . When you got lewis and hoffe that can`t take a hit without slashing or jumping a player from behind .It`s been done and i`ve seen it done and the worse fault about that is when they get a penalty for it , they think they`ve been wronged like the Royals this past weekend . If you want to make a comment about that you should say the upand up players that are gentlemen and make the comment .To make one as open as that you get an answer like this .No doubt the cats do have some gentlemenly players , might be few in numbers but they do have the odd one and yes it is nice to see a player to take a clean hit and walk away and keep playing .

That is usually the reason for the call. Checks should be finished no doubt but but not when the play has carried 30 and 40ft away
