By the way, that's total BS because Jesus Christ couldn't sell out the Pepsi Center if he was wearing skates!!) (quote)

I take offense to that Riverman. Uncalled for.

o Bogeyman said it wouldn't be a problem... do you know where they would play if there is a game 6? Maybe Windsor Stadium is possible but I don't know...

What was 'uncalled for"? Have I offended someone's religious sensibilities or is the remark misinterpreted as an insult to Corner Brook fans? Either way, I sincerely apologize! The point I was trying to make - rudely? - was that sell outs at the Pepsi Centre are rare for local hockey. If you look at a post I made on the weekend in another forum I said that the Pepsi Centre is too big for senior hockey. That's my opinion and nobody took exception at the time. I do not post on this site to offend anyone. So tell me please, satisfy my curiousity, WHAT WAS UNCALLED FOR?

Riverman thanks for the apology, much appreciated. I took offense to your reference to Christ being brought into the topic. I found it desrespectful & as I would using the Lord's name in vain. I understand & totally respect your opinion & the point that you were making about the Pepsi center.

Anyway, I got my answer - yes, there is a scheduling problem with game #6 that has to be worked out. As for the rest of it - visit your doctor and get a prescription for Prozac!

I guess the old riverman can stir a pot when he wants! Eh b' y!!!!! LMFAO

Geography lesson for the day, Gander is closer to Grand Falls-Windsor than it is to Clarenville. 150km between Clarenville and Gander. While only 88km between Gander and Grand Falls-Windsor.

perhaps you should refresh your geography...................it's 96 kms bay d'espoir turn off to gander alone..
I guess the government is wrong then. According to their website

Clarenville to St. John's is 185km, Gander to St. John's is 335km, Grand Falls to St. John's is 423km

Gander (335) subtract Clarenville (185) 335 - 185 = 150km

Grand Falls (423) subtract Gander (335) 423 - 335 = 88km

I'm not talking about to Corner Brook or Springdale at all.

Actually, I could care less if they do play game 6 in Corner Brook or Gander. I'm not able to get to game 6!

You guys have nothing better to do!

Like i said on here a dozen times before Corner Brook only supports a winner, when we were winning the pepsi center was prety close to full all the time since then you only have the die hards. Ross even mentioned it in his comments. The pepsi center is not to big, i bet Grand falls would love to have it for their playoffs. I mean in Grand Falls.

I'll take it in CB. :) Least I could get the number of tickets I'd like. The Joe is just too small and antiquated!!
