No, I was looking for a hockey game (which I saw a very good one), not someone blowing a horn for icings and dump-ins. The game was more enjoyable when his horn stopped working. The Cee Bee's crowd are loud enough without that guy giving you all a bad name.Leafs Suck wrote:What were you looking for? A quiet night out?

Contact the media? What the **** are you talking about b'y? I'll give Larry King a call tomorrow morning so I can go on CNN and tell him I'd rather not hear a horn for offsides and icings, just for goals, big hits, etc. Think about what you type before you type it. I stated my opinion, as did at least one other poster, simply stating that we found it annoying and distracting to hear that horn to be sounded for no reason at various points throughout the game. This is the least important topic ever started and I'm not the one who started it. Simply shared my opinion, as did 5 pages worth of other posters.behind the glass wrote:Skipper wrote:No, I was looking for a hockey game (which I saw a very good one), not someone blowing a horn for icings and dump-ins. I have to say that i have heard the eyes horn for goals, penalties to the other team and hits, but i have never heard it for iceing or off sides.I think somebody is trying to stir the pot a little bit on here.Trying to rattle the eye if you will.

Exactly. In all my years of going to the games in Hr. Grace I don't think I've ever heard the horn blow for icings. If some of you TB fans don't like the horn then don't come to the game. We sure as heck don't need your ticket and concession sales to survive. You on the other hand, rely on us CB fans to visit your home games. If you want to watch ice dancing stay home and watch it on tv, that way you can mute the volume. I'm glad the eye gets to bring back his horn. I might get one rigged up as well!!!Hockey 101 wrote:I have to say that i have heard the eyes horn for goals, penalties to the other team and hits, but i have never heard it for iceing or off sides.I think somebody is trying to stir the pot a little bit on here.Trying to rattle the eye if you will.

Everybody should bring a horn to the game tonight and keep blowing it until we rid the stadium of those bums that find it annoying. Try taking in a game at the Air Canada Centre or the Bell Centre if you want to hear noise or maybe a NFL game where they use fireworks. If you don't like the noise then stay home and watch Reba. Bring it on Eye and bring the roof down tonight. The louder the better.

This got to be the most foolish post we've spent time on.Only a week or so ago some fan comes on treatens to tear the horn down and then promises it wont be used in the next game, he was right but what was in the heads of the managment of the S.M. Moores to stop the Eye from using his horn. The Eye is one of the most loyal Cee Bee fans and had to stop his way of chairing his team on because of complaint from someone or some group that probably had to ask directions to get to the stadium. So I'd say bring on the horn and crank her up it cant be any worst than the music.
