For the first 10 minutes of this game the Shore controlled most of the play and scored the first goal and looked very much like they were going to give the ceebees a battle....................But then Gamberg destroyed Costello and the momentum changed..............It was all ceebees after that point in the game.............That my friends was the TSN turning point in this game...............Way to go Gamberg, You showed your leadership qualities last night and your value to this team........... :-!

Gamberg really did take Costello last night, you could tell that Gamberg had the Cheese Burgers behind him. By the look of Keefe, Jackman, and Gamberg I think the Cee bees has a good meal perdium rate when travelling, How do they all fit on the bench,
Look for Costello having alot more ice time tonight and on the ice when Mark Tobin is on.

Thats fine. Then who is going to watch Thomey or C. Sparkes. Then Lynch, Pittman, D. Sparkes, Dyke. Lots of firepower on this team. And you can't watch what you can't catch. Tobin is a big strong body that can look after himself. The Cee Bees haven't really targeted any of your skilled guys, just matched lines. If you try to shadow one or two guys there are another three or four to jump in. Not like last year. We are not a one line team.

Haha. I doubt if you'll see that. He got a pretty good beating last night from Gamberg. I doubt if he wants to step up a class and take on Tobin. I'd like to see it that though, but late in the thrid period.

It was obvious that the Shore were not ready for the jump of the Ceebees last night. Ceebees came out blazing and Shore couldn't match the intensity. It was a direct result of the semi-final series. Ceebees had to play that way to beat torbay. They had to work their butts off and couldn't take off a shift (besides game 2). Torbay worked hard and the Ceebees had no choice but to match it. On the other hand the shore had their way with Mt. Pearl. MTP didn't put up much of a fight and the shore coasted most of the series. I'm sure as the series goes on the shore will rise the intensity to match but last night it looked like they couldn't keep up.

And the shore should play Letemplier.

Some might remember the score from game 1 last season.

Yeah and some may remember the last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup. As for me, I can't remember either of the two but then again what difference does that make to what's happening this year.

The shore team that showed up last night wouldn't have beaten Mt Pearl. Even Noseworthy played good and kept the score close the first period. The forwards took a night off except maybe their grinders (W Walsh and Hutchens very rarely take a shift where they dont ive 100%). It'll be an easy sweep for the Ceebees if they dont step up. Not sure where Bird dog was, but why wouldnt your best line from the previous series (Bragg, Oates and Walsh) not even see a shift together the game?

BTW Im not taking anything away from the Ceebees or looking for excuse why the breakers lost because it was obvious who the better team was last night. Gotta love the way their players like Greeley play...nonstop every shift. Pittman was a great pick-up for you guys as well...pretty good player in the metro league but wouldn't have thought he would be this good in the senior league.

Ive watched a few Mark Tobin fights on youtube and not sure why some of you think hes a great fighter....
