LOL. Church was ok Sat night as well by the sounds of it. But its not enough for him to be just ok, hw has to be stellar if the Bous want to repeat.

Truthfully...I cant see Jewers playing at the same level this weekend...

You will see Churchill outplay Jewers both games...

Results from this will be that the Bous will come out on TOP.....

I SAID IT FROM THE START, AND I KNOW A LOT OF PPL WILL NOT AGREE.....

CARIBOUS TAKING THIS SERIES IN 5 GAMES!!!!!!!!..JMO

Mark it down, I may be wrong, but Im sticking with it..... (Quote)

You may very well be right. That means that the Bous will have to win the next 4 straight. Its hard to imagin but they did it once already this year. But if games 1 & 2 are any indication, a 4 game sweep seems highly unlikely by either team.
Ya blew it again there Zekie, the series is now tied a one game each so it is impossible for the Bous to win the next four straight cause the series will be over after three victories.

First I heard of the flu bug, never any mention of it.
Sorry there Catch 22 but as you know, Churchy is not the type to make excuses......he wasnt going around complaining about it. Jason was suffering from a flu virus this past weekend that had him up all Saturday night/Sunday morning with vomiting and diarrhea. He was not able to keep any food down and had very little energy. No excuses, just facts. It was obvious to any fan who has seen Jason play in the past that he was not on his game this past weekend!

The Caribous IMO, lost Saturday night due to a lack luster effort against a very very hungry Cats team. After winning 15 or 16 in a row, it was bound to happen. Sundays score was a better picture of how close these two teams are. Someone said that the Quinn line shut down the Lauzon line. IMO, the Quinn line was totally ineffective in shutting down that line at all! Lauzon, Pearcey and Mooney had as many shots on net as they did in any other game against the Cats. Jewer shut down the Lauzon line. It’ll be interesting to see if he can continue to play at that level for the rest of the series if he again faces the number of shots he did in Clarenville where according to the game sheets, the Cats were out shot 35 to 23 on Saturday and 36 to 26 on Sunday.

Sunday was the best game of hockey I have seen all year and I expect to see the same in GFW this weekend.
Hey Rick......dont know for a couple of extra seats do ya?? LOL

All they kept saying was that on Saturday night Churchill had the flu and was really off his game. Seems like he had the flu again Sunday but it only lasted one period. I heard about the 24 hour flu but this one takes the Emmy. Why don't you guys admit that Churchill is only human. The team ran off a series of consceutive wins at the end of the season and because he loses one game he had the "flu". Why don't you admit that the Caribous got beat by a better team on Saturday. Its no shame to lose one game. You will lose four before this series is over. Cats will win in six.
Coming from the guy who said a player who got a broken collarbone this weekend deserved it........

Its not a big deal because obviously the goal count is the ONLY count that matters, but the shot counters were out to lunch the weekend IMO. When the Cats got a shot on net just out of curiosity I would check the shot clock and ........hmm thats funny........didnt post it :) And that happened MANY times over the course of two games last weekend. So as far as Im concerned the shots recorded did not accurately reflect the ACTUAL shots on net. I guess outshooting the Cats was important to the guys in the box. :)
