It looks like to me that the Cats and Royals fans are a little pissy that they never got picked for the Allen Cup.... Suck it up boys and support them when they go..

I'm a royals fan and I would be shocked if they had of affiliated with the royals, who would the bous even pick from the royals? hahahaha in saying that the bous did make the wrong decision, they should of went with the cats and if there pride didn't get in the way then they probalby would of made the right decision and went with the cats

The affiliated is to add some extra pieces to the bous as they are the team that is going to the allan cup. I think you guys are missing the point, this is not about picking a allstar team, it is about filling in for players that are missing or adding in keys areas without missing with team chemstry. An example is langdon, the bous could of had Manson from the cats yes but I think Langdon adds a little more then Manson, another example is Drew, at the time the bous picked the affiliate they where looking at getting qualility backup goaltending and Dew was the best candidate at the time and I could go on and on.

I agree, I think Langdon will re-arrange his Florida trip or cut it short for a rare experience.

Bousclues your spot on in your first post, they needed to fill void's, not make a all-star roster. Seriously where is the room for Delaney, Delaney, Wadden, Phillpott, Gill, etc. They didnt need a whole team, just valuable pieces but I think even then the Cats had more raw talent then the Wings - only trump Wings had was Drew LOOKED to be better at the time as a goalie, and Langdon is a notch up from Manson.

Anyways, lets get over the garbage of who they should've affiliated with and cheer for the Newfies when the time comes!
