They had no one of any importance at last nights practice. No imports and no stand out new players on the ice. Total waste of time for the Wings to hold training camp in my opinion, over half the team is missing every year and it just looks like a few guys playing rec hockey.

You must be talking about our little buddy up in labrador TOMMY. He has been down to the rink up there trying to lure a few players down this way. May be he is trying to get Michael White.

All I can tell you Shawn is that no new players on the ice stood out and will not make any kind of impact in the WCSHL if they do make the team. Also no imports on the ice so cannot really comment on how they will look on opening night. They were so desperate for a goalie they called young Jordon Leroux to join them for a skate and he could not make it either. Again opening night they might surprise and actually have a half decent line up. Time will tell.

It will be interesting to see what players they have to ice next weekend in Clarenville, all we keep hearing on here is that Druken, Peach, Saunders, Rice, etc... will be here, the team will be just fine, look out for surprises, lol and then a week away from the first game nobody shows up for camp????

Where was wall or Murphy? Also you won't get a chance to look at your imports before your first game, a little scary but Andy will have a few tricks up his sleeve, he usually does. If not it could be a long winter for his wings.

Spurr was on the team last year! I was talking about the other imports joining the team. They did contact Jordon Leroux but he plays with the junior mariners so could not attend the practice. Other than the same people you see at the camp in previous years there was no player that will make any upgrade to the team. We all know the Robinsons, Langdon, Barker and Easton will be there so please tell us who else was there to help this team for the start of the season? NO ONE!
