I was wondering how the heating is going to work during the game, I am wondering if Pure Mad can give us a idea on how that is going to work.

Anything above the old Tin Can strategies of "sitting on your hands", "digging your feet under the butt of the person in front of you" and "cupping your hands around a styrofoam cup of hot chocolate" will be a welcome improvement.

From my understanding, the heating units are above the seats and the warm air will blow down. It is an arena with ice afterall, so don't expect to be able to go in your shirt sleeves.. but the fact the building is 1. insulated.. 2. heated.. 3. not just metal wrapped around a frame and 4. 1250 seats all around you .. i think it will be a BIG improvement from the old tin can

As mentioned previously, the Events Centre has full heating capabilities. However, do not expect to be wearing just your shirt sleeves. The heating control system has not been fully commissioned yet, so we will have a little heat on...but certainly not cranked up! I suspect this will be the case even after commissioning is complete. But no worries, it will certainly be much more comfortable than the old stadium.
