There is a case of total injustice being played out with a fan of the gf cataracts..............The incident in question happened last weekend here at the joe bryne memorial stadium..........................2 fans bickering between each other with the end result being that an older lady flicking a bottle at a clarenville fan................I know it's not right what this lady did...........
Then yesterday , She gets served with papers from the town police stating that she is not permitted to enter the stadium for the remainder of the playoffs and behond....................... This lady and her husband have been supporting this team for many many years..................... they even got holding seats in other communities to follow and support their team..........................they spend numerous hours on the road travelling and many dollars with hotels and meals .......................Like i said at the beginning of my post , I don't think it's right what happened , But to ban her from the stadium for the raminder of the playoffs are ludicrest seeing that they ( may ) only have one more game left for this season.....................And just imagine if the team is lucky enough to make it to the herder , And play their games at the joe bryne........
Take all your time and dedication to follow your team and not get to see them finish the year .................Don't seem right to me .....................I for one am calling out the team excecutive to get this matter straightened out.......................I will be looking at the her seat saturday night and i hope to see her there...............................If the team values their fans as much as they say they do, They will deal with this matter now and not let this woman miss seeing her team possibly making it to the herder...................... Sorry for the rant ................................

I am also a Cats fan who contributes in much the same way as this lady throughout the season and I say good riddance. We don't need that type of behavior from anybody during any event.
IMO "Justice has been served"!!!

As far as I'm concerned, this is a wake up call for anybody whom has thought of doing such a thing. I'm glad it is being taken care of before something worst happens. This is a lesson to all rinks. Minor and senior.

So is the Cville fan kicked out as well? Cause I know what happened as I was talking to the lady. I know her out of the rink. What she did wasn't that big of a deal, seeming she was pushed. If anyone knows this woman would know she wouldn't hurt a fly.

I respect your right to hold personnal opinions of people but throwing objects, to me, is sufficient enough for dismissal. As to the other fans' involvement I have no idea and will leave that to the authorities ( who just happened to be in the middle of this).

Well its like everything there are 2 side to every story and I just heard the 2nd. So I will retract my comment and say that they did the proper thing for game 6. But I think the Herder (if they make it) is a little to much.

I have to agree with Tumbleweed here that justice has been served.
There is no place for throwing objects or assult here... whether it's Grand Falls, Clarenville or anywhere for that matter.
If you were out on the street and intentially threw an object at someone, hit and hurt them you would be charged with assult wouldn't you? What makes it any different because if was in the stadium. And what reason would they have to believe she wouldn't do it again? I say Bar her and good riddence!!!

There is a case of total injustice (quote)
Certainly seems to be lots of injustices around these parts these days. Nevertheless in this case I believe that the authorities are doing the right thing. Have to send a message that saftey is paramount. Such actions could incite riots and what not. Totally unacceptable!!! I for one certainly hope that this particular decision is not over turned.

You take that to court over a plastic bottle and you will be laughed out of court ........................FACT!!!!!!!!!!Empty at that.........................My opinion is that the other lady should be no longer be permitted into the stadium as well................................ just because your a certain players wife shouldn't make no difference.........................I say this to the lady that as been ran out of this building by a so called officer..........................Keep your chin up. Go to clarenville tomorrow night , cheer on your team like always and wait for next season.................I bet you the team will be wondering if your gonna be picking up your holding seats..................................... And it's no good for anyone to say whoop de doo it's only 2 seats , because we all know every holding seat sold is guarentee money..........The way this league is going , every team will need every bit of support they can get to keep their teams afloat..........................

behindtheglass because your a big fan of mine i will try to present a resalution that will address your concerns . its unfortunate that such a long time dedicated and passionate fan who dedicated her life to the success of this prominent franchise has found her self embroiled in an incident which has inadvertanly servered her from her greatest passion . the ironic thing about this is the fact that it was her passion that got her servered from her greatest passion . if she were accompied by an executive member of the team to the authorities and foward a passionate opolagy with assurances that such an incident would never happen again than icould nt see why her privladges as a passionate cats would not be reinstated . i trust you will find this advice of some assistance . sincerly superfan
