What is the shape of a hockey puck?: triangle

I was wondering......

Why was the West Coast Final reffed by east coast refs. the East is more of a non-contact rec league with open space for skaters. The choice of refs definitely favored the Bous who like to skate and not the Cats who were trying to play physical. Was this a Randy request, an HNL move or some other reason. Does not make sense - where was Simms or Flood. Normally I would not question the reffing but with the way game 5 ended and with the selection of refs I think that Don Kelly needs to justify his decisions. Or does Randy have that much pull....?????

I would assume only as much as availability COULD be a possibility, they do have lives and jobs outside of donning the stripes.

Simms I would say would rather not ref it, I know he wasnt all that excited about reffing Senior Hockey in CB or Deer Lake, he usually sticks to minor.
You can always tell the Newfies in Heaven, they're the ones who still want to go back home!

I don`t know where you were all playoffs but as far as i can tell randy is the coach of the caribous not the head of hnl , so the ref are run by hnl not the coach of the bous .Come on boy , get with it , you can`t blame it on randy all the time . the better team won suck it up.

Thats your opinion Rick and thats fine. In my opinion except for game 1 the bous carried the majority of the play, Now i'am not saying they dominated them as that is not the case, but where clearly the better team or the team that wanted it more, after talking to alot of fans from grandfalls they felt the same way also.

No, you were the luckiest team. Both teams were great but the way game 5 ended leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. It's going to be there awhile because we were done wrong in my opinion. It leaves me feeling the same way I did after the Chris Pittman incident. I'm questioning whether I want to remain a fan and subject myself to this kind of injustice again in the future.
