This must be the biggest joke in Senior Hockey history. How in the name of s*** was this allowed to happen. If Owens and O'Keefe are reading this they are having a great laugh. Merry Christmas you NLSHL executive jokers. Time to read a manuel of rules or ask somebody to read it to you guys if you are afraid to look yourselves.catsfan4 wrote:Owens is playing with Acadia and O'keefe with St Marys so they won't be here i say

What the hell are you babbling about? This is not a draft where you can expect to get any great talent that draft happens at the start of the year, this is just taking a gamble on one or both playing you really need to settle down

Don't need to settle down but those two guys never submitted their names to a draft its just some sort of speculation. Not absolutely sure about O'Keefe for next year but Chris Owens will not be playing hockey here in the NLSHL this year or next year either. You are the one babbeling or blabbering if you wish. Owens has one more year of Acadia after this year so how do you suppose this crap will workMysterious Unicorn wrote:hockeybuff wrote:This must be the biggest joke in Senior Hockey history. The onus is on the players to submit their names for any draft in the NLSHL. Teams CANNOT submit player names. That's the rule. However, I still can't understand how a player currently on a HC card with another team can enter his name in a draft with another league. If there is no rule against this....there should be.

I would say no because they still need to play six games in the NLSHL to be eligible for the playoffs. If they're not available until February then this is impossible. I really don't understand this draft because even if this was done for next year or the year after sure there may not even be a league by then. Strange.
