The Caribous have traded Roger Kennedy to the CeeBees Stars for Chad Earle and the CeeBees second round pick in the leagues first draft next season. Thank you to Roger for his contribution in Clarenville and welcome aboard Chad. Chad will be in the Caribous lineup this weekend.

Huge move by the Cee Bees to acquire a #1 tendy. Chad Earle will bring some speed to the Caribous during the stretch drive!

Talk about putting all your eggs in one basket. We just better hope that Church don't come down with an injury.

IMHO, you now have the leagues 2 best teams with possible troubles if their number 1 goalies go down with injuries. Not to take anything away from the 2 young backups, (God knows you have to start somewhere, and good luck to them both) but Whiffin and Churchill have stolen many a game for their respective teams, even given the talent on both. Just saying...I hope NO ONE gets injured in this league, but it is a big gamble by the Bous here. Now I know they didn't have a choice with Kennedy, unless he would be happy with playing half the games, but nevertheless...it could hurt them down the stretch or in the playoffs.

Looking like the not only the Cats but the Bous are going to be looking for backup tenders. An injury to either Whiffen or Churchill and it could hurt either clubs hope for a Herder run.
