The Western Kings stepped up their game last weekend to hand the Central Ice Pak a pair of losses, winning 5-1 on Saturday, October 18 and getting a shutout win on Sunday by a score of 5-0.

On Sunday, the Kings jumped out to a 2-0 lead at the end of the first period.  They extended their lead to 4-0 after two periods and added their fifth goal in the third.  James Rossiter led the Western Kings with a pair of goals in the game.  Luke House picked up the shutout.  Single goals were added by Jalen Gillard, Scott Delaney and Mateo Short.

In Saturday’s matchup, the Kings jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the first period and extended it to 4-1 after two.  Jonathon Guy was the big scorer, netting a pair of goals while Brady Griffin-Hefford, Scott Delaney and Brandon Sexton recorded singles.  Ian Woolfrey picked up the win in the net.  The loan Ice Pak goal for the weekend was scored by Scottie Greene.
